We have listed below some of our most frequently asked question. If you are unable to find an answer to your question then please do not hesitate to contact us to ask us direct! We are always more than happy to answer any general or nutritional queries.

What is hypo-allergenic food & what are the benefits?
"Hypo-allergenic" means a reduced risk of food intolerance or food allergies. The food remains as natural as possible therefore reducing the risk of upsetting the animals digestive system.

If you think your animal is suffering from an allergy or food intolerance we suggest you take them to a vet or specialist. Signs of allergies or intolerance for an animal may be that they suffer from bloated tummy, itchy or sore skin and wind. By changing your animals food to a hypo-allergenic food we would hope it would reduce the animals discomfort and problem.


Why is wheat gluten free food good for my dog or cat?
A lot of animals have food intolerance’s and this is usually found in wheat gluten and dairy. Animals often have bloated or upset tummies along with itchy coat and poor toilet habits.  Therefore its important to give our animals food they can cope with and digest easily
.


Does pet food that is high in additives affect animal's behaviour?
Foods with additives can make some pets behaviour erratic and hyperactive. "Additive free" foods like ours may help calm you pet's behaviour.


Does my pet need anything to go with the dried food to complete their meal?
No the food is a complete meal just make sure your animal has plenty of fresh water at all times. If your pet prefers their food a little softer, you can add a little warm water to soften it.


What areas do you deliver and will there be a charge?
We will deliver anywhere that is convenient to you (i.e. home, workplace, with a relative / friend or even to a neighbour). Generally if you are within a 20 mile radius of Ellington - delivery is free. However, if you are outside of this area but we are passing whilst delivering elsewhere, we would be happy to deliver free of charge. We recommend that you call us if you know you are out of the 20 mile radius as we are flexible and delivery if charged would be a minimum cost (which is nonprofit making and only to cover our fuel costs).


What are the delivery times?
We deliver 7 days a week, between 9am – 7pm.  We are very flexible with delivery though this depends on our prior arrangement for other deliveries and your location.


Do you have any smaller sample bags of food to buy before I decide to buy a bigger bag?
Yes, we have food sample bags available.  We can either deliver them locally or if you are a bit further afield we can post them to you (national delivery not available as yet therefore local sample requests only - Northumberland and Tyne & Wear).

Unfortunately due to abuse of our free sample bag system we no longer offer free sample bagsand will now be charging a small fee to cover postage costs only. For more information about sample bags please click here.


Sample bags are approx. 200g in weight for dog food and 100g in weight for cat food.

If emailing your sample bag order - please check your correct address/contact details are given so we can ensure your sample reaches you at the correct address. Also please specify what flavour your pet would like to try.

Can I pay for my full order online?
Sorry but due to high costs to process credit/debit card payments online we only accept cheques or cash for orders to be delivered. Only food sample bags may be paid for online via PayPal.


What method of payments are accepted?
We accept cash and cheque only.
